About The Beavers Dam Lakehouse

We are newlyweds that are custom building the ultimate (yet affordable) dream home on the lake. We wanted to share our experiences as we go through the process from the very beginning to the end and even more. We've found that there are many blogs showing either the positive or negative of why or why not to build. Even more tragically, these blogs leave you wanting more information as to the "How do I even get to that point of loving or hating our custom built home?" We want to layout the facts as well as our good, bad, and ugly experiences leaving you to make your own decision armed with the resources you need, and maybe even some you don't.
